VI All-Ukrainian Choral Festival of Christmas Music

    We are sincerely glad to welcome you to Kyiv – the city of centuries-old singing traditions that go back to the distant past! The competition is created with the support of the Kyiv City State Administration, with the assistance of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine and embassies of friendly countries. Participants will present their culture and singing traditions to the Ukrainian listener. In turn, groups and soloists from Ukraine will be happy to offer their performances at a joint celebration of song and choral creativity, where music is the international language.

    All interested choirs from around the world, ensembles, including church and educational groups at specialized music educational institutions, and vocalists, regardless of region or country, of different age categories, are invited to participate in the competition-festival. The competition-festival "Victoria" is aimed not only at supporting and developing vocal and choral art, identifying talented performers, groups, and teachers among the participants, but also at promoting the Ukrainian vocal and choral school among participants from different countries. Establishing new friendly contacts between participants from different countries, bringing people and nations closer together provides an opportunity to exchange work experience for teachers, directors, and performing groups, and to expand the repertoire horizons.

    An international dialogue with conductors and soloists is planned. The jury will be represented by leading professionals in the vocal and choral field from different countries.
